└ Joan and Sherlock meet
This is the only genderbend I’ve ever seen that looks super accurate, woah. Like, Sherlock wouldn’t be a beautiful, curly haired temptress that I’ve seen her drawn/cast as. She’d be like this, hair in a messy ponytail (to get it out of the way of experiments) and modest clothes. And just look at Joan, what a cutie. Super average sense of clothing, practical haircut. Aaaah good fan-casting makes me happy.

David Jason - Mr HudsonI probably spent waaay too much thought on this. On the other hand, I can’t get over how cool this would be. Just take a second to imagine the first meeting with male!Adler, or fem!Moriarty flirting with fem!Sherlock…
Oh, and the cherry on the cake:
Gareth David-Lloyd - ‘Andreas’
Essie wanted to make some BBC Sherlock pictures based on Sidney Paget’s oldschool Sherlock Holmes drawings. The last picture of Fem!lock and John was quite unintentional for the Paget theme, but it’s kinda awesome anyway! ^____^

Sherlock looked back down at the letters in his hands. “They appear to be love letters. Somewhat —” he turned a page, quirked an eyebrow, “— explicit love letters.”

thank you so much!! I honestly feel like I get the kindest anons, it makes me beyond happy to hear my genderswaps are so well-received. sorry this is so simple, I’m coming off a stressful few days. <3
this actually gave me some trouble — not the design, but the realisation that “Richard Brook” wouldn’t work as an alias anymore! after freaking out about what name she could use (and trying to find any other language where “reich” in German translated to something that could reasonably used as a given name,) I went the totally uncreative route and decided that she’d just use “Richie” as the diminutive, since I guess it’s a little more gender-neutral, and it’s short for whatever anyone wants it to be short for.
